Diet day 11

So tonight for my lean and green dinner meal I made fettuccine Alfredo.

I used Shirataki noodles, these noodles are only 20 calories per serving (2 servings) (i found them in the refrigerated section of the health foods in a local grocery store, u can also buy them online)
Walden Farms Alfredo sauce. http://www6.netrition.com/waldenfarms_pasta_sauce_page.html (0 calories)
1 wedge of light Swiss laughing cow cheese (35 calories)
grated Parmesan cheese (10-20 calories)
broccoli florets (unsure calories)
grilled chicken (50-60 calories)

it was sooooo good, i think i will always make it like this for now on. very yummy!

Ok so I suck at writing recipes so here is my take on it lol..

cut broccoli florets and steam then for 5-7mins
grill cubed chicken
Shirataki noodles rinse noodles for about 5 mins to get the smell out, put them in a pan full of water and boil. boil for a few mins then shut off (i left them in the pan until the end)
get your Walden farms Alfredo sauce and pour some into a small pan, take you wedge of laughing cow cheese and put it in the sauce. heat and stir till its no longer clumpy.
add the grilled chicken, noodles, and broccoli to sauce and stir. once everything is covered in the Alfredo sauce add a few dashes of grated Parmesan. yummy yummy!

This dish is very low in calories and fat. it is also very good for you.

Diet day 7

Today was my 1 week weigh-in unsure really if I lost any weight because I bought a new scale and it reads way different than my other scale. I had a needle scale, but wanted to upgrade to a digital scale. The needle scale said 211, while the new digital scale says 215.3 so I dont know what to go by :( I guess I will face the fact that I originally weighed more than I thought I did. :( So for now on I guess I will be going by the weight the digital scale says. So I am going to weigh myself once a week on Thursdays, that way I can keep track of this weight loss.

Starting Weight: 220 lbs 02/03/11
Current Weight: 215.3 lbs 02/10/11
Target Weight: 125 lbs
Weight Change: 5 lbs
Remaining to Lose: 90 lbs
Avg. Lost Per Week: -5 lbs

1st medifast meal: blue berry oatmeal (where is the puking smiley)? im choking it down with lots of water lol. I was only able to eat half of it cause i was gagging and getting dry heaves trying to eat it.

2nd medifast meal: Hot cocoa, it's just as gross :( i think its more the texture of the foods than the taste! I was gagging drinking that as well.

3rd medifast meal: Brownie, It was actually good. I think I can live off brownies :)

lean and green meal: salad with grilled chicken, cucumber, and 2 tbsp of light balsamic vinaigrette dressing *Yummy*

4th medifast meal: Vanilla pudding, it was surprisingly good.

5th medifast meal: Scrambled eggs they taste like the real deal, 2 thumbs up!

New Year, New Diet, New ME!

So I started a diet Jan 11th 2011 It consisted of oatmeal, salad, and chicken. I lost 2 pounds the 1st week. 2nd week nothing really lost and nothing gained. Week of January 20th I started P90X with me neighbor. We exercise every other day, sometimes every 2-3 days depending on how sore we are. Today I weighed myself and I am currently at 215lbs yaaah 5 pounds lost!

Well I took my diet to more extreme levels last night and purchased Medifast. I start the diet today February 3rd 2011 It's a 5 and 1 plan, 5 medifast meals and 1 lean green meal per day. I have to drink at least 64oz of water. Lets see how this diet goes :)
